Drains, drain blockages and drain FAQs
Do you unblock drains?
We are drainage and unblocking specialists with 17 years experience.
Our certified plumbers use hydro jet technology, CCTV, and location technology to unblock drains, sewers and storm water drains. Using this technology together, we can identify the location of the blockage more easily and remove the blockage in a more eco-friendly manner.
What equipment and technology do you use to unblock drains?
Our plumbers use hydro jet technology to help unblock drains. This technique uses high-pressure water to clear out debris, grease, and other blockages. This method is environmentally friendly, fast, and effective, ensuring that the plumbing system is restored to its location and cause of the blockage. This helps us work out the best steps to unblock your optimal functioning capacity.
As well as hydro jet technology, we use CCTV and location technology to identify the rain and clear it quickly and efficiently.
Why do drains get blocked?
Drain blockages can occur for a number of reasons, including the build up of debris like hair, food waste, and grease. Foreign objects such as sanitary products and toys can also contribute to clogs, as can invasive tree roots. Poorly designed or installed drains are also more susceptible to blockages.
Routine maintenance, such as cleaning and inspections, can help prevent blockages and keep your drains functioning smoothly. If you’re a commercial business, having a preventive maintenance schedule for drains and plumbing is vital to avoid issues such as blockages, leaks, and costly damages.
By adhering to a schedule, potential problems can be detected early on, avoiding costly repairs later on or irreversible plumbing system damage. It also prolongs the life of your plumbing system and guarantees its continued efficient operation.

Plumbing Services and Support FAQs
Do you provide quotes before you start work?
Transparency is a big part of our plumbing service and support. Before any plumbing repairs or maintenance is completed, your assigned plumber will provide an estimate for the services required. We will also provide a scope of works for larger jobs for your prior approval.
These estimates are free of charge and based on the information provided by you and our initial investigation. If additional plumbing issues or concerns are found that could change the final cost of your service, your plumber will chat to you before taking additional steps.
Do you charge a call-out fee?
While we don’t charge a call-out fee, the first hour of all plumbing service bookings - including emergency plumbing support - are charged at our initial consultation rate. After the first hour, a standard plumbing trade rate applies.
If your plumber is on site for one hour or less, the initial consultation rate still applies and the full hour will be charged.
How much do you charge for a quote?
We provide estimates or quotes free of charge for every plumbing service and support request. This estimate will be provided to you before any plumbing services are provided to allow you to ask any questions and ensure full transparency of our services.

Do you do preventative maintenance?
As well as drainage services and plumbing maintenance and repairs, we provide preventive drainage and plumbing services for commercial businesses and industrial building sites.
Regular preventative maintenance of drains and plumbing is crucial to prevent blockages, leaks, and other costly and damaging issues. By following a schedule, potential problems can be identified and addressed before they escalate, saving time and money in the long run. It also helps to extend the lifespan of the plumbing system and ensure its continued efficient operation.
